For the most part I felt that web 2.0 was helpful to know the new things that are out there, but some of the sites were were stupid such as Myspace, Facebook and Twitter (I will never be OK with Myspace or Facebook).
I doubt that if I wasn't forced to do these tasks I would ever really learn about them or that I would care to learn about these things for that matter.
But at least, I am aware of what things are out there and now when "Good Morning America" talks about twittering, I know what they mean.

Craigslist: A Guide to Online Classifieds
Craigslist, I feel is useful for finding local things, but I still think that its a little creepy because people could post weird things on their and you don't know exactly what you are getting. But I suppose things like that could also happen in like the Penny Savor. Overall, its useful and helpful.
Google Docs
I think that this is actually useful to learn. It will help with backing up files, sharing files and such. I think that for those who are constantly trying to save a document to a few different computers its just a useful tool to have so that nothing gets lost or anything.

Finding new feeds
I thought that this step was confusing, and I didn't get how who would subscribe to your favorite sites if they didn't have the orange symbol. I don't think I would actually use it.
Discovering feeds on our catalog and website
How do you think patrons will respond to these technologies? I think that patrons who know how to use these feeds will find it useful, but for those who have no clue on what to do or what they are doing, they probably will have a difficult time as I did. But having the library already having these feeds set up, makes it easier for those like me.
